SILVA ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR EANES BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Entrepreneur and CEO vows to take Eanes to the Next Level of Excellence

West Lake Hills, Texas - Today, Aaron Silva, a West Lake Hills entrepreneur and CEO, announced that he will run to be the next Eanes Board of Trustee Member in Place 5. The seat is being vacated by Jennifer Champagne who is not seeking re-election.
“As your next school board member, I hope to take Eanes the Next Level of Excellence by building greater community trust in the board, rewarding our excellent teachers, forging partnerships with parents, achieving in the classroom, and utilizing my business expertise to improve Eanes’ fiscal policies and practices,” announced Silva on Wednesday.
In addition to his executive and business experience, Aaron and his wife, Ivana, have two children in the Eanes school district, Lidia (15) and Auggie (12). As a taxpayer and a parent of Eanes children, Aaron worries that Eanes is at an inflection point, and some of the challenges facing the district need greater attention.
“Our current Board of Trustees has an excellent resume and have accomplished much for our district,” said Silva. “However, there are two critical elements that the board needs - parents of Eanes students, and a person with tremendous business experience. I bring both of those perspectives to the table.”
Over the next several months, Aaron intends to speak directly with as many voters as possible to hear their concerns and learn more about how he can serve the community. In the name of maximum transparency, Aaron will roll out a series of detailed policy proposals over the next two months so Eanes voters have as much information as they need to cast an informed vote.
Aaron has served as the President and CEO of Paladin fs, a technology contract negotiations company, for the last 16+ years. He has a long history of executive business experience. Aaron is the President of the Rob Roy Homeowners Association, was a mentor at Westlake High School’s Business Incubator program, and has coached youth sports in the area for years. On his podcast, Eanes Parents Unite, he has had open discussions with community leaders such as Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Arnett, Darshana Kalikstein, and Coach Tony Salazar, about the most important issues facing the Eanes school district.
